Find out how we built a charity website that earned recognition from across the continent
Our eagle-eyed clients and followers will know all too well that we love to pick up awards for our work here at MultiWebMarketing™.
It’s the best way for us to put our skills and expertise to the ultimate test – and, most importantly, help us to stay at the top of our game.
That’s why, this month, we were overjoyed to win our first-ever European award – adding to an impressive collection of 26 national awards we have already picked up.
This time, it was our new website launched for Paces charity in Sheffield that stole the headlines and saw us awarded as Best European Website and User Experience Designers at the prestigious NYX Awards.
Our company Founder Paul Smith said: “Obviously, this is a proud moment for us all. This award is up there with the Oscars of our industry, awarded by an esteemed judging panel, and puts our work alongside some terrific brands, such as Disney, Jaguar, and even Microsoft”
The website has been a massive hit with the charity – developed and delivered for free alongside a whole suite of marketing services worth up to £25,000 as part of our partnership with them.
It has helped to raise awareness and boost online donations to fund the charity in providing life-changing support and conductive education for individuals with conditions such as cerebral palsy, multiple sclerosis, and Parkinson’s.
“We’ve been overwhelmed by the support from MultiWebMarketing™,” said Corporate Partnerships Manager Dave Hall. “The website is such a pivotal part of the charity and has been something we’ve wanted to do for a long time, but it’s just such a massive job with a huge investment of time and money needed.”
Paces’ Head of Fundraising and Communications Julie Booth said: “It’s absolutely amazing. The feedback from all of our staff and supporters has been fantastic. It’s easy for people to see what we do and get behind us.”
Pivotal to the success of the website has been a well-thought-out user journey and simple navigation by the development team – but also a really compelling brand and design.
“Our development team is always winning awards, and I’d thought I’d lost my touch, so this was a great win,” joked Graphic Design Lead Kieren Bates.
“One thing that really makes a difference is working with clients in the early stages to understand what they like but, just as importantly, what they don’t like. This helps us to create something that they love.”
“This is a really cool website that hits the brief. Paces wanted the website to have a playful feel and, for us, we’ve achieved.”
