I took the plunge to try something completely different in 2008 and opened my own coffee shop on the beautiful north west Irish coast.

Over the past 8 years since graduating from University with a BA Honours in Fashion Design & Marketing I have had various roles, starting with interning as a menswear designer. I soon discovered that fashion design wasn’t the route for me and I much preferred the marketing element of my degree. From there I became a Sales, Events and Marketing assistant at a very popular wedding venue. Within the five years working at the venue I progressed my role from assistant to Events and Marketing Manager, heading up my own team of wedding coordinators.

I then progressed my career working as an event manager within a high-end agency and eventually moving on as Corporate Event Manager for Harvey Nichols.

In addition to working within Events and Marketing, I have always loved being creative and have a real passion for Social Media. (My friends and family would call it more of an unhealthy obsession!).

My previous experience has led to finally landing my dream role within team Multi Web. I love that I get to be so creative within my role alongside liaising with clients and leading such a fab team of individual characters. I may have only been with the team since January 2021 but I have definitely found my place in the world and I’m looking forward to developing further within such a fantastic company!

Something to think about: Why are buildings called buildings, when they are already built?

Growing up a creative person, photography, drawing and coding were my main interests. After deciding whether college or an apprenticeship was the better option.

Since joining MultiWebMarketing and going through my first apprenticeship in business and administration, I moved onto a 2 year graphic design course which taught me the basics of commercial graphic design along with company and market research.

Going from an apprentice at the age of 16 to being an Assistant Studio Manager at 23, my responsibilities have changed dramatically. I look after a team of skilled graphic designers and developers, scheduling their workload, managing projects and meeting both our clients creative and website requirements.

Front End Developer

Music Tastes: Modern Country

Hobbies: Video Games, Lego, Board Games

Favourite Games: Life is Strange, World of Warcraft

Favourite Food: Chinese

After graduating in 2014 with an honours degree in Business Management and needing a new project to fill my time over the summer I began learning to code. Quickly realising this was the direction I wanted to head in, I spent the next couple of years trying different languages and building my skills, it was here I discovered my love for website development.

I knew I could only go so far with self learning so applied to the University of York to do a Master’s degree in Information Technology. The course gave me everything I needed to grow as a developer and gave me experience working as part of a development team.

Following my Master’s graduation I built as many websites as I could to expand my portfolio and was lucky enough to join the MultiWebMarketing team in June of 2020. The next few years are going to be exciting for us and I’m glad to be along for the journey.

Front End Developer

Hobbies: TTRPGs, coding, gaming.

Favourite Food: All things BBQ.

Music Tastes: Pretty much anything as long as it’s not rubbish.

I have always been a techy type of guy, ever since I was very young my dad used to build computers with me, calling it ‘adult lego’. As I grew up, the fascination with all things technology stuck with me, and throughout school I did just about every IT and Maths course I could.

After graduating Sixth Form in 2018, I already had a teensy bit of everything under my belt, maths, statistics, computer software, hardware and even a little bit of game design! I still wasn’t satisfied, and decided to look for somewhere where I could learn even more.

I joined MultiWeb in 2019 as an apprentice front end developer, and immediately jumped on learning web design with my usual obsessiveness. It’s been a blast ever since then, and I’ve learned to love the team I work with daily.

Outside of work, I’m a pretty typical ‘nerdy guy’, enjoying tabletop games and TCGs, as well as still learning game design as a pet project, having designed another game as a favour for a friend in recent years. Here’s hoping for 3 more years (or even more!) at MultiWeb, working with the loveable idiots I call my team.

I’m currently the youngest member of the team; joining MultiWeb as an apprentice after finishing school in 2019, at the age of 16. I very recently completed my Level 3 apprenticeship, which resulted in my promotion to a full-time Junior Content Marketing Executive. I started as a Digital Marketing and Social Media Apprentice at MultiWeb in September and I am thoroughly enjoying working here, gaining valuable experience and improving my skills in Social Media and Email Marketing. I hope to complete my apprenticeship with a Distinction and progress further in the company.

Business Administration Apprentice

Hobbies: Art, Baking, Singing.

Favourite Place: The Pub

Being an apprentice, I am quite new to the world of work. However, I have made quite a few educational and personal achievements. I have 11 GCSEs graded at a B or above. I also have 3 A-levels in Art, History and Health and Social Care.

The arts have always been a big part of my life and I have sung solo and as a part of a band since the age of 12. I have also participated in several school musicals. Some of my favourite memories have come from performing at the local music festival in 2017 & 2018, which was headlined by the Pigeon Detectives in 2017 and Scouting for Girls in 2018!

I look forward to expanding and exploring my career in the future and I am glad to be a part of the MWM team.
