eLearning Design

International Counter Terrorism Training, founded by security and counter-terrorism expert Noel Whelan, have over 25 years’ experience in security, anti-terrorism and counter-terrorism training. They use this experience to provide a comprehensive online Diploma in Anti- and Counter-Terrorism Studies. After failing to find a suitable solution and online platform for their diploma, the company came to MultiWebMarketing for our eLearning Design services. We built a new website from the ground up where users can buy and take the course.

The course itself is split into three separate modules, each available to purchase separately, or packaged together as a full diploma at a reduced price. We built in features to the course ensuring each module needed to be passed before students could move on to the next part of the course. The three different modules are all made up of video lessons with a voiceover from Noel, and culminate in a multiple choice quiz, each with a specific pass mark. Once all assessments have been completed, students are awarded their personalised diploma certificate.

We were given the course in Flash, an outdated video format which wouldn’t have worked across all devices. We had to provide a solution to ensure the course worked across a range of devices, and rebuilt the course in a more modern, mobile-responsive format. Now, users can take the course on desktops and laptops as well as mobile devices such as smartphones and tablets, available to take on the go.
