Case Study
Website Design – Essex
European Health Commodities
Website design for Essex-based business European Health Commodities.
Responsive Design
European Health Commodities supplies bulk health ingredients to businesses, not consumers. Their previous online presence did not reflect this clearly. The website attracted low-quality traffic, confused retail buyers, and failed to convert serious trade customers into enquiries.
They needed a website that did the opposite; positioning themselves as a B2B bulk supplier and attracting serious trade enquiries from the right audience. The site was built to be fully responsive, ensuring buyers could easily browse ingredients on desktop, tablet or mobile while working.
A critical requirement was showcasing the product range without allowing online purchases. We developed a shop-style product page that displays ingredients clearly with professional presentation, reinforces that EHC supplies bulk quantities only, replaces checkout with product enquiry functionality, and filters out retail buyers while encouraging genuine trade enquiries.
Rather than relying on a single contact page, we embedded enquiry opportunities throughout the site. Every key page includes clear calls to action and contact forms, allowing users to enquire the moment intent is highest.
In B2B supply, credibility is essential. We built an About page to build trust with buyers by clearly communicating EHC’s expertise, reliability, and position within the health ingredients supply chain.
SEO Services
The website is supported by our Essentials Plan, focused on long-term lead generation through SEO and performance optimisation. We implemented a user-centric SEO content strategy for their product pages, targeting commercial, ingredient-specific search terms. This approach ensures the website attracts the right visitors, not just more visitors.
SEO is not a one-off task. So we continually monitor search visibility for key ingredient terms, traffic quality and user behaviour, and enquiry conversion all so we can identify future opportunities and refine and expand content based on data.
